It is a surprise to many that corruption factored as the most important issue for why people voted the way they did last week. The pundits have been saying that Iraq was the biggest issue for voters, and it was quite big; but considering how east-and-west coasters are so out of touch with the majority of voters, it's no big surprise that they got this one wrong.
